Sustainability in Focus: Conducting a Life Cycle Cost Analysis for the LH2CRAFT Project

In the quest for sustainable and economically viable solutions, a Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) of the LH2CRAFT project led by TWI will be conducted.

The Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) will examine the various phases of the main product (CCS), including raw material exploitation, material production, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and dismantling to recycling. It will assess cash flows throughout the life cycle and will facilitate comparisons between different design, maintenance, and replacement strategies for the developed solutions. This will be achieved by quantifying the direct economic costs of production (CAPEX), operation and maintenance costs (OPEX), repair/refurbishment costs, and end-of-life costs.

The results from this analysis will support further the development of exploitation and business plans based on the LH2CRAFT project outcomes.
