Knowledge Hub for Open Innovation and Knowledge Transfer: progress update

As the LH2CRAFT project advances, there is a concerted effort to ensure that research findings and key innovations are seamlessly integrated into the broader hydrogen technology ecosystem, impacting sectors such as aviation, transport, and more.

A primary goal of the Knowledge Hub, led by University of Patras (UPAT) currently under development, is to accelerate the adoption of hydrogen technologies by facilitating secure interactions and targeted actions.

To achieve this, a governing Board, comprised of project partners, has been established over the past few months. This Board will regularly monitor the activities of the Knowledge Hub, ensuring progress aligns with the project’s objectives and that the necessary actions are taken to meet these goals.
During recent meetings, several key actions for the Knowledge Hub were outlined, including:

• Project Website Integration: A dedicated section on the project’s official website will be created for the Knowledge Hub. This will feature tools such as the H2 Network Formation and Connections Mapping, enabling better collaboration across sectors.

• Cross-Sectoral H2 Events: The project will organize and support dedicated sessions, events, and conferences focused on hydrogen. These will foster cross-sectoral discussions on hydrogen technologies and their applications.

• H2 Academy Initiative: A series of online events will be launched, including thematic webinars on cross-sectoral hydrogen technology. Additionally, student competitions related to hydrogen use will be organized to encourage innovation among the next generation.
