LH2CRAFT at AERODAYS 2025

The LH2CRAFT project was prominently featured at AERODAYS 2025, held last week in Warsaw, Poland, as a strong example of cross-sectoral innovation in liquid hydrogen handling and transfer systems. Professor Angelos Filippatos from the University of Patras participated in the event in collaboration with the European Aeronautics Science Network (EASN) team.

The project was presented at the EASN stand, where Dr. Apostolos Chamos introduced LH2CRAFT’s objectives and its innovative work on the safe and efficient transfer of liquid hydrogen in maritime contexts. Its presence at an aviation-focused event fostered valuable conversations about how such enabling technologies can inform hydrogen-related developments across both maritime and aerospace sectors.

This visibility significantly enhanced awareness of LH2CRAFT project and its cross-sectoral potential. The activity also contributes directly to the Knowledge Hub efforts under Task 11.4 of the LH2CRAFT project, reinforcing the project’s role in supporting Europe’s broader clean energy transition.

We extend our appreciation to everyone involved for their commitment to promoting LH2CRAFT project on such a prominent international stage.
