The LH2CRAFT project was featured at the European Shipping Summit (ESS 2025), held on March 19-20, 2025, in Brussels. With maritime decarbonization at the forefront of discussions, the event provided a key platform to showcase LH2CRAFT’s role in advancing the safe and efficient transport of liquid hydrogen (LH2) for the shipping industry.
Presented at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) booth, LH2CRAFT was highlighted as a pioneering initiative tackling the technical, safety, and regulatory challenges associated with integrating liquid hydrogen into maritime transport. The event brought together EU officials, policymakers, shipowners, ship managers, technology developers, investors, and industry leaders, all focused on driving sustainable innovation in shipping.
Beyond demonstrating technical advancements, the European Shipping Summit 2025 facilitated insightful discussions on the future of alternative fuels in shipping. These conversations reinforced the importance of collaboration and innovation in accelerating the transition to low-emission maritime transport.
