Alternative Containment Types and Design: Progress update on Task 2.4

This task is analysing the alternative containment types and designs of liquid hydrogen cargoes. The alternative containment types (desktop studies) have been categorized in terms of vessel types and certain cases have been qualified based on economic and technological identified barriers and criteria for further research. The next steps are expected to analyse in detail the handling and distribution systems, bunkering and different structural arrangements. The final step of this task is foreseen to entail two provisional GAP analyses, one for existing vessels and another one for new building vessels.
