Establishing Testing and Assessment Criteria for the LH2 Cargo Containment System (CCS)

Task 2.5 aims to create a comprehensive list of necessary testing procedures, along with corresponding standards and acceptance criteria. This includes evaluating the characteristics of materials used in containment systems and solutions, as well as defining specific cryogenic containment solutions as the foundation for Approval in Principle (AiP) and general approval of the prototype tank in Work Package 7 (WP7). Additionally, the task involves developing various alternative containment systems and designs tailored for their intended applications, based on alternative CCSs defined in desktop studies and drawing insights from the experience gained. The outcomes of these procedures will be utilized to contribute to various tasks across different work packages within the LH2CRAFT project.
