We are excited to share the highlights of the LH2CRAFT project’s showcase at the European Corner during ECOS2024, the 37th International Conference on Efficiency, Cost, Optimization, Simulation, and Environmental Impact of Energy Systems. This prestigious event, held on Rhodes Island, Greece, from June 30th to July 5th, 2024, provided an ideal platform to present our pioneering advancements in maritime transport.
Represented by the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), the LH2CRAFT project focuses on developing sustainable, commercially viable, and safe long-term storage and transportation solutions for Liquid Hydrogen (LH2) in commercial vessels. Coordinated by HYDRUS, the project involves 14 partners and emphasizes early-stage safety and risk assessments, detailed design and testing of prototypes, and comprehensive life cycle assessments.
ECOS2024 offered an exceptional opportunity to engage with the ECOS community and explore the latest innovations in maritime transport and sustainability. We were honoured to be part of this esteemed conference, which allowed us to demonstrate our commitment to integrating LH2 into maritime transport.
Our participation was a tremendous success, and we are eager to continue our ground-breaking work on the LH2CRAFT project, forging a path toward a sustainable future in maritime transport.
