Progress Update: Assessment and Testing of Insulation Alternatives for LH2 Cargo Containment System

Building on the progress made over the past few months, the LH2CRAFT consortium is now preparing to begin testing candidate insulation materials for the containment system. In Task 3.4 led by Technische Universität Dresden (TUD) the current focus is on finalizing comprehensive test plans, which will include assessments under cryogenic conditions to ensure the materials are suitable for the safe, long-term storage of liquid hydrogen on board vessels.
